ABOUT ME
I began my love affair with painting at the tender age of seven. It was love at first stroke. When I was in second grade, I drew a picture of a deer running, my art teacher, Mrs. Brown, was so impressed that she hung my artwork up in front of the whole class. Boy, was I proud that day. Later, she handed me a paint brush and said, "Let me see if you can paint like you draw". Oh, by the way, she found out, I could paint too. Little did I know, I would sell my first painting of Charlie Chaplin at age ten. I have not put the paint brush down since then. Off I went to pursue my passion to paint. My colorful, impressionistic style of art reflects my life, what I see, my surroundings, my inspirations, and my love of art. I studied at several colleges and have taken courses throughout the years to perfect my passion and technique. I now specialize in the unique use of the palette knife in all my paintings; that is now my brush for over 20 years. I love creating art but yet, I am humble in knowing each time I paint, it makes me new again.
